DiscamScreens is a unique low-maintenance filtering and shredding system ideal for wastewater treatment plants. Thanks to the innovative solution that combines a system of self-cleaning disc filters with a high-performance bi-shaft macerator. The disc filter system has the ability to capture up to 95% of solids with dimensions between 5 mm and 9 mm. The shredder allows the liquid to pass quickly while the solids are trapped between the two shafts equipped with blades and macerated. The system requires no manual assistance or cleaning and eliminates the disposal costs associated with the extracted debris. The PLC is equipped with an auto-reverse system that automatically prevents overloading of the DiscamScreens, saving on machine downtime.
