As with the horizontal model, an adjustable back pull-out casing allows external setting of cutter clearances for the main chopping elements. This enables periodic maintenance to be carried out without needing to strip down the pump.

A heavy-duty cartridge mechanical seal, with an equally heavy duty combined bearing frame, assures dependability.

This pump is often mounted on the ground outside a raised prefabricated tank for use for Rotamix mixing applications, as described elsewhere.
